    Specify Output filenames

    Hello,

I am looking to rip a good number of CD's (a few thousand) and would like to specify the output filename and use NO METADATA (no lookup, etc). I simply would like to rip each disc to a single WAV with CUE file and and have the .wav filename be specified by me--perhaps by providing a list of desired filenames in the order in which I load the discs. Is something like this possible? Do I need to use CD Database lookup when batch ripping? Thanks in advance for any input that can be provided.

You do not need to use any metadata lookup, if you disable it.

However you will need to add \[batchid]\[title]

as the naming string, if using batch ripper.

Thanks for the speedy reply! Much appreciated. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I added this to my naming string:

I ended up with a .wav and .cue simply named [batchid]

Where would I go about generating a list of desired names for each cd? I'm hoping I can have each disc named something like:

      XXXX-1001_0_00_01.wav
      XXXX-1002_0_00_01.wav
      XXXX-1003_0_00_01.wav
