I'm having issues with Nimbie USB and Batch ripper. Nimbie support says it's likely a dbpoweramp issue. My first attempt with the Nimbie and USB 3.0 port was really problematic with 1/2 of the CDs being rejected for either "No CD detected" even with a CD in tray, or no metadata. All those disks were 'rippable' with standard dbpoweramp. I moved the Nimbie to another machine and USB 2.0 port. I placed a stack of 16 CDs. Two were rejected, one with a no disk (Jeff Beck Wired) detected and one for no metadata (somewhat obscure Stone Poneys CD). Beck ripped on Nimbie with third try. Batch Ripper could never get metadata on Stone Pony CD. SP Cd was easily read by another optical drive and standard DBpoweramp. A 10-15% failure rate seems pretty high for brand new, CDs that are in a database. Any pointers?
