    Building a ripping machine

    Hey guys !
I'm looking for a new ripping machine but i may need some help
I want to build a machine that could rip simultanously 5 CDs, ran with Windows OS i think and just used for ripping (business use in fact).

I thought of something like that :

    Mainboard : P8Z77-V DELUXE
    Processor : Intel Core i7 3770k
    RAM : 2x8Gb DDR3 1600
    Power supply : Corsair AX850
    HDD : SSD 2x128 Gb
    DVD Reader : LG 16x
PC Case : Thermaltake Armor Revo

Will it be OK ? Too much ? I want an optimal process of ripping, any suggestion and any report is welcome

Sorry for my bad english, i'm european

    Thank you very much !

    Re: Building a ripping machine

It is a well specified machine, I think you will have no issues ripping with this.

If your CD drives extracted data at 40x speed (maximum at end of the disc), then that is 200x over 5 drives, 200x176KB = 34MB/s

If ripping to lossless the encoder takes little CPU time, lossy you would have about 30x to 40x speed per core (depending on CPU), so to keep up with the drives you would need a 6 core machine.
