Kodak robot loads/unloads but won't rip

I finally got my Kodak loading and unloading fine. The cd regognizes the cd, but doesn't rip the tracks. Occasionally it will start to rip one track, but then unloads the cd and never completes the rip...any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
I'm using windows7 just to test, I guess I can swap to virtual XP to see if it helps.
Just wondered if anyone has run into this problem before

If you manuall load a CD and rip with CD Ripper (not batch ripper) can it rip the disc?

Uninstalled everything...reinstalled, rebooted, reattached....and it works. Never mind (smh)
