Crashes; Does not work, utterly useless

    Before I begin,
    System specs

    -Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40GHz
    -Installed memory (RAM): 3 GB
    -System type: 32-bit OS
    -Operating System: Windows 7 Professional
I've purchased a license to use dbPowerAmp Reference R14.

dbPowerAmp CD Ripper and Batch Converter do not work for me. They load, and 5 seconds after that, they crash. Sometimes I am successful at ripping one CD using the normal CD Ripper program, but this is only if I'm lucky. Generally speaking, these two programs are very prone to crashing.

    Whats wrong?

How do they crash? a send error to microsoft, or the computer locks up fully?

The application itself stops working around 5-10 seconds after it is launched. (Picture above)

You mention batch converter, do you mean batch ripper?

Also start the program with no cd in the drive, select meta drop menu and unchecked all items except freedb then insert cd, if this works it is possible AMG is crashing (perhaps your router or security software are changing the data)

I had a similar problem - turned out my secondary optical drive was bad, causing all sorts of weird errors.
