    No Album Art?

    Hi,

First off, as many have said, fantastic software! It's simply the best ripping software I've ever used!

With some work everything for me is working great, except one thing: batch ripper isn't picking up any album art? It picks up the rest of the meta data.

Under the meta config I can see that I have 400 AMG lookups remaining, so that must be fine, but it's not downloading art??

If I use the normal dbpoweramp ripper it picks up the art fine.

    Any ideas?

    Many Thanks,
    Al

If it stays at 400 it suggests something is not working correctly.

Ah - I think it may be using stored metadata, every CD it's picked up now is comming back 'no meta data'. Think something may be up with my internet connection! (Using a proxy to access accuraterip as my ISP seems to have blocked access for some reason...).

I'll have a play and let you know shortly.

      Thanks, Al.

Ok, it seems that normal dbPoweramp only uses the proxy for Accuraterip, and grabs the meta data through my normal internet connection. Meta data fetching works fine here.

The batch rip application appears to use the accuraterip proxy details for all it's communications? and thus to fetch the metadata (presumably because the proxy won't allow it for whatever reason)

So I need to find a proxy that will allow all traffic. (Really can't see why I can't access accuraterip without using a proxy, only assumption is ISP is blocking it!?).

Anyway thank you for the very speedy response, you don't get service like that from most software vendors!

Ok I've had a little play, and to make things simple I've reverted back to standard internet, no proxy servers configured anywhere.

Now it won't talk to accuraterip, and will download metadata, but still no album art, and the 400 count still isn't decrementing and remains at 400 even after 4 or 5 CDrips.

Any ideas what might be going on? There's definitely something not right here.

          Thanks again.

Some people are having issues with accuraterip, try www.accuraterip.com from your internet browser.

Hi Spoon, no I'm not able to access www.accuraterip.com from a browser either, I had assumed that my ISP was blocking this.

Glad to hear it's not just me having issues!

Right I've now read a bit about the accuraterip.com issue, so that's fine I'll just wait until that's resolved.

But that issue aside, any idea why the batch ripper is unable to pick up album art (when normal dbpoweramp can) and my 400 meta allowance isn't decreasing? Thanks again.

                  You need:

Changes: On manual input & review, new 'Search Internet for Album Art' button Updated internally to XClass and VS2010 Manual Meta Review: drawing speed enhancements Bug fix - AMG would not lookup when using 400 non-commercial lookups Bug Fix: Corrupted Album Art could freeze album art selection <now released>

Fantastic, cheers spoon! Will give that a go this evening when I'm home from work. Cheers again for your help.

Again, top software. I was lucky enough to come across an old Primera Composer for free (complete with scsi plextor drive) that my employers were just throwing away! Just at the same time I was looking to rip my CD collection to flac conveniently. So for the price of your software I've got a fully automated secure ripping set up, very pleased!
