    ripping problem with Sony VGP-XL1B

I am new to this forum and after throwing the towel with Sony XL1B this forum is my only hope.

I have installed dBamp, Batch ripper and driver.
but could not rip more than one CD.

    Here's what happens:

    1. First CD is correctly recognized and ripped and then

(IReject 15: Same as Last Reject 15: CD Same as last Disc1
(IReject 16: Same as Last Reject 16: CD Same as last Disc 1
(IReject 17: Same as Last Reject 17: CD Same as last Disc 1

It continues until the last CD in slot *blooper*49 and the final message is :
    DB Power amp Batch Ripper
Change spindle on I : (Matsushita-DVDRAM SW-9584) with the option OK or Cancel

    My thoughts:

    1. I have not configured driver correctly. What I have missed?
    2. Sony XL1B is defective and the hardware problem is causing this error.

    TIA !

Try the test load and unload in the configuration, it sounds like the robot part of the changer is not functioning.

dbPoweramp loads and unloads the discs fine but it will not spin up the disc to RIP. The Disc Drive type is unrecognized in Win 7 but WMP will play a DC just fine.

        Answered here:

I am trying to move my Batch Ripper installation to a new machine running Windows 7-64. I have installed the Media Changer Driver and the system passes all of the tests, but when I attempt to RIP a group of discs they cycle in an out of the changer as 'unrecognized". The drive inside the changer is recognized only as
