Two other inconveniences have been noted when ripping a lot of CDs. They both pertain to the saving files to an existing directory instead of creating a successor such as Unknown Artist(2). In the case of unknown artists, tracks from the second unrecognized disk will overwrite tracks from the firsty unrecognized disk, requiring detection and re-rip. For known artists with overlapping album names (such as in box sets) you just get multiples of each track number (01, 02, 03) and have to separate them into directories yourself. It would be an improvement if you could have the batch ripper create a successor directory each time the target directory already existed.

At the request of multiple users, I am writing a short tutorial on how to use the naming scheme in dMC r12. The basics of the naming scheme are simple to get: [artist] - use for the artist name [album artist] - use for the album artist, NOT the same as artist necessarily [album] - use for the album title [title] -
