    Filenames too long

Batch ripper will sometimes assign filenames to files that are too long to be copied. These filenames are also resistant to fixing under program control, although they can be individually edited under Windows Explorer. It would be nice to have a setting to force truncation so that we can back up our files to another drive without heroic measures. An example is the St Matthew Passion disc 1 from the Brilliant Classics Bach Edition.
