Pause dAP on startup?

I would like to have dAP startup when I log into Windows and immediately pause. The configuration option starts dAP and it immediately starts playing. I thought of creating a shortcut to dAP in my startup folder with maybe a command line option to pause it. Is there a way to do this? Another way?

If it was paused when shut down, does it stay paused?

Pausing dAP before logging off/shutting down doesn't work for me in keeping dAP from playing upon startup (not with the option to start up dAP upon launching Windows activated).

However, stopping dAP (as opposed to hitting the Pause button) DOES seem to do the trick.

What will also work is to turn off the Random Play option and make sure that any queued tracks are cleared before logging off. In that case, dAP will open on start up but won't play unless you queue one or more tracks or re-activate Random Play.

But this is nearly as much work and seems a little sloppier than de-activating the option to launch dAP on startup and launching from the desktop icon without messing around with activating/de-activating Random Play.

whould have to agree with xoas if it really doeasn't stay paused on start up... I know that it stys paused when you reasctivate it (start the app again), though I rarely do it so I don't know about the startup thingy...
