'Random' Play is not very random

Every time I set dBpoweramp to 'Random' to play my Music Collection (more than 4000 songs) it always plays Random from the same 5 or 6 folders.
Is there a way to adjust it so it plays more random from all my files I have on my HD ?

i assume u've turned selective play off and that there's no probs playing the files normally ?
