Reading of "Year" in Vorbis-spec files?

I have a lot of files encoded in FLAC and Ogg Vorbis that were tagged with the "Tag" command-line tag editor. On these files, the "year" tag is in the form "DATE=2002". I've looked at the Vorbis spec and it looks like there isn't a suggested "Year" field, only "DATE" and "COPYRIGHT". In any case, it appears that dBpowerAMP does not correctly read the year I've tagged onto these files. Was this a mistake on my part, or is this something that dBpowerAMP should do but doesn't?

By the way, even though I've only been playing around with dBpowerAMP for less than an hour, I really like it, mostly for My Music Collection, and the fact it works really well with FLAC and Ogg Vorbis (except for that minor tagging glich mentioned above). Great job!

I sent an email with a more complete description of the problem as well as other information I learned last night. I also posted in the Hydrogen Audio forums (http://www.audio-illumination.org/fo...=ST&f=8&t=3573) as I suspect this problem might affect other audio players and tagging utilities.
