Remote Freedb CDDC connection

I always get a "Check your network connection" error though I'm directly connected to the internet through a cable modem!!!

I have similar problems with other players though Winamp 2.x really connects to freedb and get's me the information I need.

Thee only difference I can find is the port address 888 instead of 80 ????? Could this be the problem ???

How can I change this in dbPowerAmp.?

Port 888 with be a different way of connection to freedb, dBpowerAMP needs http on port 80. You might have to specify a proxy server, right click on your Internet explorer >> Properties >> Connections >> Lan Settings

If there is proxy stuff entered, you will have to do the same in dBpowerAMP.
