    Searching thru track

How come if you try to move slider to different point in track it doesn't want to go? Specifically I think this happens in SHN file not FLAC.

    Re: Searching thru track

This seems to be an issue with either the codec or perhaps the format in general. I tried a SHN file in dAP and found that the progress slider resists being reset when playing SHN tracks in dAP (if you try to pull the slider it bounces back, if you click on a spot on the track progress bar the slider will wait a second or so before moving to your designated spot).
    Thank you for reporting this.

    Best wishes,
    Bill

That happens with midi files as well. You have to be persistent.

You can play .midi in dAP?

Edit: OK, I see there's a midi input decoder listed in dMC configuration.
I didn't know it was there!
        Will wonders never cease!!!

It plays through the midi decompressor or whatever it is. Not quite the same "decoder" as others. I guess that's why an actual converter for midi isn't quite ready yet.

Speaking of which I am testing one that converts midi to wav without the accroabtics of dMC Auxilairy Input. It does it in real time, with the sound off, and it can convert batches. The interface is nice and easy. Unfortunately it did a lousy job of converting my files - so I won't be deserting dMC Auxiliary Input just as yet :D . I think it draws directly on a default midi sound bank but not the right one somehow, because the resulting files were very poor quality and didn't sound much like when I play the midi files in WMP.
