how to play gapless?

I'm listening to a lot of live music and get really annoyed with the break between each song. I crossed the 'Gapless' option in Multiplayer but the most you can adjust it is 1mS which still leaves a noticeable gap.
Is there a way to truly be able to to listen to my music files without ANY gap?

Only if the format your using is gapless. For instance, mp3 is not.

All my live music is in LOSSLESS format. (FLAC, SHN.....). My Rio Karma plays these files (FLAC, Ogg) gapless so I know it's possible. I just don't know how to adjust the settings in dbPowerAMP or if it's possible at all. I used Winamp before and had no problems to get gapless playback.

I'm suprized though that you fin 1mS notceable. That's a 1000-th of a second. Hardly likely.

In any case, are you certain there's absolutely no moment of silence (even 1 mS) at the end of one track or at the start of another track?

The bigger the number the smaller the gap. You can type 100 into that box.

thanks, I typed in 400 and it seems to work good. I thought the time was the length of the gap....

I can remember there was an option in DirectX output to delete silence at begin and end of tracks when playing in player version 2.0 ?
But I cant find it any more (I run r3beta6 now)
