Playing through Digidesign Mbox?

Hi!

I just bought a Digidesign Mbox and I was hoping to be able to use its outputs and D/A converters with Dbpoweramp. I've tried all the different configurations that were available in the "amp" window and it will only play through the integrated sound card. I also changed to settings in the Windows volume control to use the Mbox outs but it still only plays through the sound card. The Mbox uses an ASIO driver and I'm thinking that maybe DBpoweramp doesn't support this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you close and restart dAP after you hooked up your USB soundcard? I have a USB sound card, albeit a Creative Sound Blaster.
Will other sounds play out the USB outputs?

Yes, several times.

I'm also trying to get the Mbox to work with another program(SIA Smaartlive acoustical measurement software) besides protools(which the mbox is designed for and is having no problems). It looks like there is an older version of the wave driver that is included with the software(protools) that works better with Smaartlive so I might try that. I also downloaded a program that lets you change the windows registry to allow the mbox to recognize 3rd party software. I'm going to go home and try these things(I'm in a library right now so I can't play music).
