cant convert flac files to mp3

i've just downloaded dbpowerAMP to convert some flac (audio) files to mp3 but when i open the dMC File Selector and select the folder in which the flac files are, nothing shows up. is there a special version to convert flac files, or do i need to change settings or something?

Confusing, isn't it. You need to tick the box for flac that you'll see when you push the 'converting' button at the top of the screen. Until you do, flac files won't be listed.

Did you download and install the FLAC codec from Codec Central?
If not, click on the Codec Central tab at the top of this page to download and install the FLAC codec.
