Can't Create New MMC

I created a new directory, into which I'll be placing MP3 files that I rip from CD, or convert from other sources.

But, when I tell MMC to create a new collection inside that directory, it refuses to do so.

I click on the Collection button and go down inside the directory that will contain the MP3 files. I click on Open and it does nothing, except ignore me.

What does one have to do to start a new collection in an empty location?

Creating New Collections

It is possible to have more than one music collection, for example your Wife (or Mistress ) might have one collection and you another. To create a new collection, selection Collection and click New, collections can be Loaded, Saved to a new location or Combined.

Revise my steps to be as follows (didn't notice that I missed a piece):

So yes, I selected New to try and create a new collection.

Figured it out. Had a scare, but all is right now.
