    More minor bugs

    1) If you open dbpoweramp and take the player 'menu' option, multiplayer, and then scroll the codecs list on the right, the highlighting of individual codecs screws up (apparently the list used for highlight didn't scroll or something?).

    2) If you 'pause' the dbpoweramp player on a track, it will 'un pause' as soon as you start a CD rip. If you 'stop' the play, it doesn't restart, it's just 'pause' that doesn't stick.

    3) I'm still seeing strange stuff happening when 'scheduling' search for new music tracks in the library (like it hangs up sometimes .. when I use Taskmanager to kill the hung up copy of 'my music collection', another one then starts and colelcts the track details just fine).

All with WinXP SP2 and latest versions of everything.

Still a nice piece of software (especially the converters). Is there some way I can pay Mr Spoon something without FhG get a cut (I don't use MP3, and I don't approve of FhG's 'patenteering')??

FhG sold the rights for mp3 technology to Thompson. Thompson has generated the extra push for royalties to use of mp3 technology.
At this point it may be more useful to view payments for dAP and dMC as being payments to Mr. Spoon to cover his expenses (which happens to include payments to Thompson for use of mp3 technology).
And, last I knew (I've been away for a while and I may be wrong about this) if you forego use of mp3 you should be able to use dMC and/or dAP free (but without the Power Pack or CD Writer). You could always help out Spoon (and yourself too) by paying for the Power Pack.
    Best wishes,
    Bill Mikkelsen

Correct, you can continue to use dMC without the PowerPack as long as you can live without converting to mp3 or the PowerPack DSP effects or editing tags from the file's properties.

Edit: I have experienced the unpause-when-ripping also.
