New tag?

Hi,
While I actually like having new songs I added to my music collection tagged as new, how can I change their tag to the disk symbol? I tried editing the songs using the user highlight state, but I only change the tags to coloured diamonds. I would like to have the songs have the disk tag like most of my other songs.

You can do this by selecting a file from MMC (My Music Collection), and changing yhe preference rating for it. Or you can select a file from MMC, right-click it, select Edit Tag and make changes to the tag (changing the preference rating, clicking on Auto Volume Normalize, changing the volume setting, or changing the preference rating-any one of these will do).
You can get your disc symbol attached to a whole bunch of new files by selecting multiple files (selecting them by holding down the Shift key), right-clicking on the group of selected files, selecting Edit Tag, and making a change to the the tags for the whole group (you could change the preference rating for the whole group or select Auto Volume Normalize for the whole group).

Even simpler, you can select a group of files, right-click on Edit Tag, and click on OK without making ANY changes.
