    Clueless..... Need Some Help..

This is great software.... I'm using it in conjunction with my new Rio .mp3 player... The software is better than the Rio itself!!! Great job.

My file associations are associated with dBPower Player. All my music files seem set correctly, but clicking on a music file DOES NOT bring up the player and play the file... WTH did I do wrong?
I can right-click on the file and select "Play" and sure enough there's joy, but I can't find a way to bring up the player by clicking on the file..

    What should I do here?

    Thanks,

    Ballzo

      No, I wish it would!!!

Seriously, when I click on any of my music files to play them it brings up the Sveta Portable Audio dialogue box "Add Device."
It lists my Rio 600 as in installed device. And at that point there's nowhere to go. The device is already installed.

As I said, if I right click on a music file, it plays automatically, or I can choose "Open with." But that should'nt be...

The player is correctly installed and plays music files. But clicking on the actual music file itself in it's stored location brings up this confounded dialogue box "Add Device." I've installed and uninstalled until I'm blue in the face and I guess I just don't get the concept here... Nothing changes. can't figure out what mistake I've made.

Lovin' working with these tools. But I'm stumped on this one...

Need some help. Only have 12 hairs left on my head!! Hehe.

      Thanks,

      Ballzo

Open regedit (start >> run >> regedit) - open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

Do a search for svetaconfig.exe and that is the problem value.

OK, that's cool. When you say that's the "Problem value" how should I handle that?

          Thanks,

Sorry it should have been HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

it will be a link to the program - change it to the path and filename of the program you want to run.
