    Preview function in p2p programmes

As you're doubtless aware, all p2p programmes have a preview function, which permits you to check the song you're downloading (for instance, to ensure that it has been correctly named). So it's quite important to be able to do this, instead of the alternative of having to wait until the file has fully downloaded (which is sometimes hours, or more) only to find that somebody has misnamed it.
My problem is that although this function works perfectly with, for example, WinMX and KaZaa, for some reason, it will not work with i-Mesh. I have ALL tick boxes in file associations set for dBpoweramp, and your magic programme works exactly as it is supposed to do in every other application.
I'm using Win98se. Is there anything else I could/should do to try and get the i-Mesh preview sunction working?

I am guessing that iMesh has a built in player, so it will use that instead of an external one.

I'm not sure about a built-in player, Neil. As things stand, just nothing happens except silence when I select 'play' in i-mesh.
If I unselect dAP in file associations, it still comes up with nothing.
Strange one - got me puzzled!

Well I have no idea either. I'm assuming the problem is specific to iMesh, seeing as WinMX and KaZaArgh are able to work okay with it.

I'm not really a P2P person (I only have WinMX and even then I only use it very occasionally) so I don't know about the inner workings of these programs.
