    Automatic Normalization (MMC)

I am curious as to the method employed for volume normalization by MMC. Is this done in the digital domain? If so, what processes are employed to handle wordlength expansion that occurs during DSP calculations and to minimize quantization noise?

    Thanks

Currently it is a simple multiply, one day I will get around to adding dither to it, about the I integrate with replaygain.

Thanks. I am somewhat of a "Purist" (I listen to lossy compressed audio, so I am a little lenient on myself) so if I want the least amount of "messing around with" then I should disable Auto Normalization? What other types of EQ are being employed by either dbpoweramp directly or the Musepack codec that would also introduce "digital distortion"? Can I disable any of them?

Thanks ahead of time for the info.

If you disable the EQ and volume normalize then your audio is not touched.
