cd playback for testing?

A search didnt really give me an answer so....

I create mp3 cd's using cd-writer and they play very good in my stereo and
auto cdplayer.

When i put the cd into the PC dvd or cd-rw, no sound. I can see the gauges,
needles jumping on players (winamp, creative, dBPlayer) but dont hear nothing.

Possible solutions?

Check Volume controls. Right click the bullhorn volume icon in the task bar, Open Volume Controls and look at playback properties. Something must be muted there. You should have everything unmuted except for microphone.

Hi Christina,

Thanks but i just had to jiggle a couple connections and it started working.
That will teach me to open the case and stick my big hands in it.!!
