Player doesn't jump to the next music file

Hi,

I really like the player, but one thing bugs me:
I let it play through all my files, jumping at random from song to song.
At the end of the song in 60% of the time it either loops the last second of the song, instead of jumping to the next song, or it just stops playing.
I use WinXP SP1.

If this bug could be fixed I would be very grateful.

P.S.: I played with the crossfade and gapless options, but it did no good.

Try the latest beta version of dAP (install dMC R11 over the top).

I 've been having a similar problem as well, but i have found that the newest beta (3.6) does that from the moment i install. The problem goes away if i revert back to dap 2. But when i then install the music converter r11 over top the problem comes back. In win 98 the last second loops, in xp all sp's, dap can take as long as a min to load next song. and sometimes doesn't load next one at all. uninstalling converter dosn't help. the only way to get rid of the problem it to clean registry and then reinstall dap. i believe the problem is with mp3s and no other format.

Which output method is selected? waveout or directx, does selectiong the other make any difference?

this seems to be the problem I am having. I made a playlist to run all of my faves, it does not do this in my 98 box but it does it in XP box. I have tried all that i know to track down the soucre of the problem but no luck. This happaens also when I que my music files to play in a certain order. Any help would be appreciated :blush:

Make sure any gapless / crossfader is switched off.
