Random play stalls at end of song

When playing random play sometimes it works for a few songs and then it will stall at the end of the song until you hit next. I tried uninstalling and reinstall but that did not resolve the problem. In the past I had no problems. I am running windows xp pro service pack 2.

Often something like Gapless option on a non multi stream sound card can cause this (first try dAP OPtions Menu >> Amp >> Output to as the otherone).

Thanks for asking this question, Hankelberry! I was having exactly the same problem. I have my settings for DirectX now which was the only "other one" I saw. So far so good...
