.m3u Playlist assignment lost

Hi ...

After I installed a bunch of Codecs (nearly all) i am no longer able to chose .m3u files as "Music Files and Playlists".

If I manually TYPE in the filename (for instance batch.m3u) it works fine.

Before installing the codecs the direct .m3u assignment worked fine.

Does anyone know, which codec may have "stolen" the .m3u assignment?

Sorry, where did you have this file type association? In Windows Explorer? In Windows Media Payer? Some other player?

It is a bug with Windows AFAIK (the only way is to uninstall codecs and get the numbers down).
