I am trying to set up my audio player and I need help is configuring the AccurateRip function. I have downloaded the db and the software as instructed. I have a mostly classical music cd collection and I have tried numerous (maybe 25-30) cd to see if the program will recognize them as key discs. I finally found three but the system wants three that read the same offset/sample error (or whatever it is) and this is not the case with my three cd which seem to be all over the map. What now?

Re: Accuraterip problem
Your alternatives are to keep trying or to give up.
The problem in trying to find three key discs that agree is related in part to the the fact that offsets will be somewhat different for different "editions" of the same cd. I believe the database contains multiple offset values for some key discs but only a single offset value for others. It is this issue that causes the fluctuation in values for the discs being recognized as key discs. If you keep trying, you will finally end up with three key discs that will be agree with one another. Once the drive is properly configured and reported then you will only need one key disc if you should need to reconfigure.
While there are many classical cd's in the database, you may want to consider trying some of the non-classical cd's also. There is a listing of the 10,000 cd's in the database and you could try selecting some cd's and seeing if they have made the database or not, but the database is sufficiently large that trial and error might be as effective.
My experience has been that there are only a limited number of variations of offset values you are likely to run into with discs recognized as key discs. I think I had to find five key discs to find three that agreed (and, of course, many of my discs were not identified as key discs). So I don't think you are likely to run into more than 4 or five different offset/sample values, and I don't think you will need more than 6 or 7 key discs to get configured. You are probably closer than you think.
But you can always stop your quest. Wait until you are rested up. Come back to the task when you are ready. I did not get configured during my first try.
And, while dMC does work even better with AccurateRip enabled, it works pretty darn well without AccurateRip also.
It's up to you.
