I'm used to musicmatch and have never understood playlist support in dAP. Is there a way to add to a playlist from the music collection? Other than right clicking or dragging from windows explorer is there any way to make a playlist?

By the way, I tried copying from the music collection and pasting in windows explorer to a new folder -- as a substitute for a playlist. It appear to work, but it deleted the file from the original location -- not what I expected. Using the music converter to rearrange did the same thing, even though the check-box to delete the source file was NOT checked.

You can do anything with Playlists that you're looking to do by selecting Playlist on dAP. You can create new playlists, or you can add to existing playlists by clicking on the ADD TRACKS button.
If your music collection is in many different folders or subfolders, just be sure to remember where you stored them. I try to keep all of mine in one folder.
