    M3U Playlist trouble

Hi, I'm messing with a very strange problem.

When I click on a playlist, m3u format filled with wma audio files, the player jump to next track of the currently selected plist, instead of loading the new one.

    Any hint?

I'm not sure if I understud right, but I think the playter first needs to finish the current playlist and then to go to the next one...

you can clear the Queue before you add the playlist....

being that dAP is a bit odd in the start maybe you should experiment a bit more...

Within dAP, if you select a playlist it is queued as separate individual tracks in the queue. Loading a second playlist merely adds the tracks from the second playlist to the queue. You can manually delete all items in the queue by opening MMC right-clicking on any track in the queue and selecting the option to clear all items in the queue (the track currently loaded will continue playing unless you skip it). You can do the same a bit more easily with QueMaster.
But the most effective technique is to surf to the file for the playlist you want to play in Windows Explorer, right-click on the playlist and select the option to "Play in dAP." This will immediately clear the queue and start your playlist playing.

            Best wishes,

              Ok, thankyou for your answer.

I actually went back to winamp: dBpowerAMP Music Converter is absolutely the best program around, but dBpowerAMP Audio Player...well, with maximum respect to all the people involved in it, I don't like it at all :o

just a little edit for xoas... "play in dap" does not clear the queue it just plays the file/pls you selected...

winamp is an ok program, and well it does take time to get used to the dAP system, but I find that it takes the most out of computer's posibilities for playing music... winamp is starting to copy some of the ides in dAP, but they are mostly hidden so most users don't know it at all...

Thanks for the clarification. More precisely, Play in dAP will stop the current track, start playing the tracks in the playlist you have selected, and queue the tracks which were previously waiting to be played behind the tracks in the playlist.
