    Default Color.txt-anyone got one?

Apparently when I installed the new release the color.txt file got changed...honest, all I want is the nice blue and white letters in MMC...

If someone could post the numbers from the dbpoweramp default color.txt I could just save it and overwrite the other.

I have enjoyed seeing many of the creative skins people have put together, and will use a few differing ones (ones that don't change the MMC!) .

    Anyway, thanks a pantload!

Are you using the default player or a specific skin?

The color text file is located in your Illustrate folder under "Skins" and in the subfolder "Editor".
    C:\ProgramFiles\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Skins\Defaul t\Editor.

If you open up the "Colors" text file you'll see a list of numbers.
Each color setting is a grouping of three numbers. The first three lines are for the background screen. The second three are for your text color.

Change the first six lines to the following to get your "Black" background and "White" text.

    0
    0
    0
    255
    255
    255

This should take care of it.

    Hope this helps.

If you dont like the color schemes in some skins you can always change them in the "editior" folder like Craze told you, and when you use that skin later, the color schemes will be the same.

Thank you all!!! Especially you, xoas, as that restored me finally to my beloved scheme.

Plus now I have new amp skins to play with (while keeping the MMC the same).

I very much appreciate all the help. This was a holy grail for me for some unknown reason.

I did go into the Skins folder (in program files>illustrate) and play with various combinations, getting a good background but toally hosing the frame. Arg! So this is great!

Even after changing the colors.txt to default, it's not quite the same as the earlier release one. A few things are changed such as the stars, which now have white dots around them, only visible if your background isn't white. It'd be nice if someone put a zip of the Skins folder up for download as I am anaemic and can't stand white light... :p

Are you using the Default skin? Have you tried downloading any skins? There are lots of variations on a dark background. I know Donny, Archon and myself have made changes to MMC.

I double checked the original scheme by reloading dAP-r2. Bill's color txt. file in above post #3 is correct. It looks just fine on my display. You can tweak it to your liking by following Razgo's instructions as posted by xoas.

Had a look at the other MMC skins but they just don't cut it; I've tried copy pasting the colors text into my colors.txt but it's not quite the same. I think some of the icons were also changed so as to fit the new white background so those will also have to be changed back; as a result, it'd be nice if the whole "editor" folder could be zipped up and put somewhere, cheers.
