    Streams Support?

I installed the player, then associated file types with the player. Now when I go to a web site with an MP3 stream, all the player does is advance to the next song in my playlist. Are web streams supported?

My understanding is that dAP does not play streaming audio files straight off the web. You would have to download the audio file first.

I'll just add that you may not always be able to download a streaming audio file, but you can capture it (preferably to wav) with dMC Auxiliary Input while playing it off the web with whatever player supports it (typically WMP or Real Player) and encode it to whatever format you like after that.

In this case, I have a couple of web radio stations I like to listen to and saving and then playing isn't the option/method I was looking for. The problem is that now that all my MP3's are associated with PowerAmp, when the system sees an MP3 stream it tries to run poweramp and all it does is advance to the next song on the playlist. I guess, maybe it's easier to associate MP3's with my other player (MusicMatch). :(
