DSP Effects of dPowerAMP audio Player

    1) I have downloaded and installed Release 3 of the above player and the Karaoke and Headphone plug-ins. I opened the player and enabled (through the Options Menu) the Karaoke effect. Next I played a wav track of a song which I Ripped into my hard disk from a CD, expecting to hear the music only, without the singer. However, it didn't work : I heared the singer in full volume. I stopped the play, unchecked the sign next to "karaoke" and played again the same song. I heared the singer in the same volume as before. I have tried to play several other tracks, however the results were the same. What else should I do to cause the karaoke effect to be effective ?

    2) Is it possible, that the Headphone plug-in's also is ineffective, or that it's effect is supposed to be quite subtle ?

    Thanks in advance

Not all tracks can have the singer removed, they have to have stereo seperation for the artist.
