Changes using dAP Id Tag Editor don't take

In dAP with music collection files displayed, if I right click on a file and choose Edit Tag and make changes and then click OK -- the tag changes are seen in the file. But later when I call the file up in music collection, the file "usually" has reverted to the earlier unchanged status.

If I make the changes then highlight the file and select Advanced/Rewrite Tag, the changes still do not take...and the file "usually" reverts to the unchanged form when called up again.

If I make the same changes through WinAmp, they save just fine.

    What am I missing here?

For id3v2 tags they are at the beginning of the file, and if the file is playing in dAP the tag update will not be sucessfull until it is playing another track.
