Playlist in Windows media player

Hello how do I go about importing a playlist to convert from windows media player.
I have several playlists in windows media player and want to convert the files to MP3 by running muisc convereter and selecting the playlist but when I open it and view playlists it does not see them.

WMP saves it's playlist in a format not supported by music converter yet, in .WPL

Just load each playlist you want music converter to convert, then go to FILE/SAVE PLAYLIST AS... and change the Save As Type from .WPL to M3U which is a more "universal" format.
