    Randomly Speed Up my mp3s?

Hi, I love both the Music Converter and the Audio Player, but I have one issue that really gets me PO'd with the Audio Player. When I let the player play my collection randomly, sometimes it plays a song like 3 times as fast....it was funny at first, but now it has become quite annoying. The only problem I could think of was that I had videos in the same folder with my music, and they showed up in the music collection....giving bogus movie times like 54:44 and such (the movie was 3:44 long!!) I hope there is a solution to this problem...im running XP Pro if that helps...

Don't know if this will help for sure but why not remove the bogus movie files from your MMC and see if that helps?
    Best wishes,

You might have a bad driver for your sound card, my Aureon Space does that if you play two streams together with different frequencies.

Hey, it seems that deleting the movies from my collection worked! Thanks for the help...maybe someone else should try to recreate this problem to see if it's not just my computer, so it can be fixed...dbpoweramp is now my fav. music player indefinitely!!!!

I never installed seperate drivers for my sound card since it was integrated in my motherboard...and all the drivers were in one package. But if you try to recreate the problem we will find out for sure.

I am having the same problem on my nforce2 board after a new install and remember having the same problem on my old nforce board and this nforce2 board when i first installed this player. Forgot how I fixed it but am searching for that post now.
