    Re: Question about MMC->Arrange

    well all playlist should have relative paths to files (meaning it will have only subdirectories and the filename in your case)... you probably saved that playlist to another place or something... maybe you should open it with notepad and copy a piece of it to the forum to see what is wrong...

        Re: Question about MMC->Arrange

        in the same place as in the m3u
        the path is relative to the playlist location (when it was created), so if you have a pls in c:\music, and a song in c:\music\art\track.ogg, then the refference will be 'art\track.ogg' ...
        also note that if you relocate the pls in, for example, c:\pictures, the links will NOT be auto refreshed, so if you need to relocate a pls, then load it into an editor and then save it to the other place

          i thought you were talking about it locks in the drive location as well. like c: or d: or whatever.

          i guess both ways would serve a purpose. but if a drive letter was locked in also at least all you have to do is change/edit the the path in the .pls file?

            well the drive letter is a part of the path where the playlist is - isn't it ? :D

            and to append to the previous post, if you need a track called 'e:\music\track.ape' then the playlist in 'c:\music' would contain the complete path to the track...

              yes, but that's not how it currently works. it currently doesn't look for a drive letter.

              but if it did look for a drive letter then you could put your playlist anywhere and change the drive letter. that's what i meant.
