Rewrite ID Tag

AFAICS Rewrite ID Tag will re-write existing tags so if only a v1.1 tag exists that's the one rewritten. Is there any way I can persuade MMC to create a v2 tag?

Set the dMC Configurtions to 'Always v1 & v2'? (or never V1, but I think it will write a v1 if it exists).

Ah, I hadn't realised dMC and MMC were linked in that fashion.
