Is this a glitch with winxp?

I downloaded and istalled the 24bit DSP effect and the 48bit Khz resample. I followed the website instructions to activate them but they were not listed in the setup. There are no boxes to check and nothing listed in the plug-in section. I am running dbpoweramp r2 on winxp build 2600 sp1 with an athalon-xp 1800 processor and 768 meg memory. Everything else I added works fine. I am just wondering if these addons are automatically configured when istalled or if they are just taking up space on my puter.
