    Won't Play music

I installed dap on another computer (WIN XP home edition). When I am logged in as the administrator, I have not problem playing mucis in dap. But, if I login as a regular user (non-Admin), when I select a song to play, the Play button will show as pressed down (selected) for a second, then show as not selected and the song will never play. No matter how many times, I press play.

Is this some type of Win XP security issues?

Each music collection is seperate, so for the other user you need to add tracks again to MMC.

If I add the file to the music collection, dAP will then play the song(s).

But, if I use Windows Explorer to, say find a new song on a cd. Then, in the context menu for the song, select "Play in dAP" or if I select the "Open File(s)" button on dAP and select one or more files, dAP will not play the song(s).

I did not think, I had to add a song to the music collection, if I only wanted dAP to play it.

If the track is from a normal Audio CD then you need to be logged on as Administrator, otherwise Windows stops dBpowerAMP from accessing the CD drive (security).

Is there any work around, other than giving the user admin priv? Media Play does not run into this limitation.

If you install my music converter, then select Audio Cd input >> options >> advanced >> and set communications to "NT/
            2000 built in (limited)"

              That seems to have worked.

              Thanks
