What is Auto Volume Normalization ?

    When using it:

Do you change for ever the volume of the song?
    Like with MP3Gain?

Or you write in the tag an indication that the player will use next time he plays the song?
In this case ,if you play the song in any other program/player ,you get the original level?
Can you ,inside dAP not use the 'Volume Normalization' on a track who was analyzed?

    Like in Replay Gain ?

    Thanks

It doesn't affect the file. It just adds a tag stating the normalization level.

Effectively yes, although the resulting gain value is stored in the Music Collection database.
