    DSP-48 khz Resample with Extegy external ?

    I have a SoundBlaster Extigy external soundcard.
    I would get better sound using the DSP-48 KHz Resample effect?

    PS:I like the last built of Player

    I, personally, don't hear a difference between the 48KHz DSP and the Audigy built-in 48KHz resampler...

        I think the Audigy has a better resampler, I know I could hear a difference on a Live card.

          Or, you are a greater audiophile than me and zevele and you have a slightly more sensitive earing.

          I do know, after going through some professionally assisted audio test when I was younger, that there are a some frequencies I can't hear.

            Me too, its well worth the extra resource usage.
            Combined with KX Project audio drivers I dont think there is a way to make my old card sound any better.
