volume question

I love the dbpowerAMP player and music converter. on the machine at my office it works great. At home, i have a very stragne problem. It will play CDs just fine, but it zeros out the volume after every track. I have to go in to the volume controls and tuen the volume back up. This doesn' thappen if i'm playing from files on the machine or from mp3s on a CD, just audio CDs.

I'm running WindowsME and version 2 of dbpowerAMP.

Which volume scale is going to zero? CD, Wave or Master?
