    (not) playing cd

I can't play my cd with dbpoweramp player. I reads cq plays every track with no sound in one second. This problem i've had with every version of the player.

Try installing my Music Converter and use 'Audio CD Input' it will better show the error if you try to 'Rip' a CD track.

      Dear Spoon,

I've all things of dbpoweramp. Ripping is no problem, converting to any type of music file also no problem. When i take the audio cd input of the Music converter it will play every track without any problem.
When i click the option: play audio cd of the player , it runs over every track witout playing. So the problem is with the player, i don't know what it is.

i take this to mean in the main amp (dbpoweramp player) you click "add" and then select your cd drive, then select the cda music files off the cd to play, but no sound?

if this is the case, make sure you have dbpoweramp-->configurations-->file association-->selct cda to associate.

then check your mutlimedia properties control panel-->multimedia-->and check settings in there too.

have you ever been able to play and hear music from your cd rom? make sure you have an udio cable going from your cd rom to your audio card too.

It will be because dAP cannot match a CD drive to a drive letter, if you swap the two drive letters around, ie:

              if you have:

              cd1 e:\
              cd2 f:\

              then make cd2 e: and cd1 f:

                  Thanks Guys!

                  It's working!

Changing drive names and file association in dbpower amp player and in configuration.
