Problems with on-screen mini control and mini-tray

I'm a relatively new user of this program, and I love it except for one problem: for reasons I don't understand, the mini control is sometimes partially obscured when I open a new window (usually affecting the extended section--the part that contains information about the song being played). The extended section "disappears" behind the new window, although the rest of the mini-control stays visible and functions normally. Also, when this occurs, the mini-tray control ceases to work (nothing happens when I place my mouse over the icon). At other times, the mini-control and the mini-tray work as intended.

Is this a bug or just user error? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    BTW, I'm using dbpoweramp-r2.

Posted this in the wrong forum originally--sorry

    TIA for your help.

This is with the default skin? or do you have others installed? (some skins do not have a tray control).

Sometimes I have similar problems... I guess some programs mess around with the Z-order... ususally I have the same problem with my Stereo Ga Ga skin, but also with some others

          Ditto's.
I've seen this same quirk for quite some time with the default dAP and noted it when I submitted Curt's Golden Wonder v2.2 skin.
I found a work around for the "Studio" skin which I included as a help screen in the skin. But for some reason this work around doesn't work for the default dAP.
