    Keyboard Control Issue

I might be nitpicking here, but I'd like to be able to disable keyboard control if DAP is not the focused application.

Because I got used to set all volume to max, and control the main volume with the volume knob on my keyboard. But, what is annoying me is that every time I want to lower the main volume, it also lowers DAP's volume control as well as the WAV volume control on my SB Audigy mixer. It's quite disturbing when you want to slide it down one notch, but that notch gets automatically tripled.

Maybe I am missing something here and there is a way but I am looking and can't find it. THanks for any help!

Oh, I should add that with other players (WMP and WinAMP) it behaves the way I'd like it, the volume knob has no effect on the "in-application" volumes and no effect on the WAV volume control of the mixer, just the main gets adjusted.

Yes there is a problem that dap volume effects the wave volume. If you set Output to Direct X then this will not happen. On my PC when I switch to this the sound is also a bit quiter, I don't know why...
Maybe you should check the dap keyboard configuration and change it. I think if you haven't already then it is still on that main volume knob on your keyboard. Try setting it to '+' and '-' or something...

D'oh! :headbang: Of Course!! If the default settings get hold of the volume control of the keyboard, changing them to something else would, in theory, fix the problem!! Why didn't I think of that?? :headbang:

I'll try it tonight when I get home and see if it fixes the problem.

      Thanks! :komisch12
