Just a quick note -- I've undertaken a large project of ripping my entire CD collection (approx 2K CDs) to FLAC, which I chose for a variety of reasons (taggable, streamable, lossless). With the codec plugin, this app is by far the best solution I have found for playing my flacs. Not only does the decoder work on the fly (there is also a winamp plugin), but the tag support works great in My Music Collection as well, which is a big plus for me. Nice work. I feel very strongly that with lossless formats and nicely integrated management and playback for large collections, there is a whole world of audiophiles that would embrace using a computer system whereas until now that community is dead against MP3s (for quality reasons). Good job.

Re: Best FLAC solution
I also have been converting my whole CD collection to FLAC, and I want to add my thanks for such powerful software. I've been happy to register!
But now - a new dilemma. Apple's lossless codec.
I have an ipod, so the idea that a lossless format that can go straight in there and also work with iTunes (which now has a nice sharing feature) is excellent. But I wish they just took FLAC and added fairplay (it has such similar specs, anyway). I may convert my FLAC collection to Apple's lossless, but reluctantly. Spoon, I've seen that you are making progress with the Apple Lossless codec. You are awesome!
thanks,
