User highlight state in My Music Collection

Ok... I would like to create thematic playlists from My Music Collection - just picking song x and song g, with no specific order or calculation, just using my taste.

I see there is a "User highlight state function, which I could use to pick the songs in a relaxed way (not having to hold down ctrl all the time fanatically:-).

The problem - You cannot sort on this User highlight state! Can I? I might have overlooked something, but clicking on the menubar above the "User highlight state" column, does not work.

I hope there is an answer...

You mean remove one of the user highlighted states? or all?

No. I mean that I after I give some some songs, say, highlight state 2, I want to sort them on this state. This would be handy for creating special playlists (m3u) that you want to save.

Just like you can sort the songs in your collection by all other fields (eg artist, bitrate etc).

Besides, what else is this feature (user highlights) useful for?

Well you found out what it is best for - playlists and stuff....
It has special icons (in the first column of MMC) you can sort by this...

And I'm hoping that one day you will be able to use 'selective play' combined with 'user state'
