    midi files problem

I played a midi file in dbpoweramp player, and all the mp3's and wma's played after were very crackly, restarting didn't fix it, but playing the midi file again did!!

I can direct you to the midi file if you want.

Arggh the problem wasn't fixed, it has come back. It seems to be something to do with the crossfader, as turning this on and off temporarily solves the problem. Restarting DAP doesn't fix it. I may have to reboot for this one.

Damn the stupid Japanese dog fashion accesories site where I got the midi file from. Though it was very funny, look, http://www.ne.jp/asahi/beetle/calcium/ the monkey suit is best.

It might have done something funny to your sound card, do a full shut down and leave your computer off for 30 or so seconds.

I've only just realized dap now plays midi (no flies on me:rolleyes: ) but any midi file i try and play seems to just lock dap up frozen stiff.

i will keep trying different midi's to see if it is something to do with my midi's?
