Amp exe problem in Task Manager

Hi-

New computer w/ Windows 7 is acting slow, so I open the task manager & see that in the "Processes" tab there are about 30 listings for "Amp.exe.32" - most using zero cpu, but each about 772 of memory BUT the top listing is using 26% of the CPU - this with the player closed.

Any suggestions?

There should not be 30 amp.exe running, only 1, what did you do (such as clicked on files, etc) to get them running?

Nothing special - just spend a few hours listening to music - opening & closing the player.
